Are you 12 years old ?!You have zero knowledge of US history. The Italians, of which my mother was one. were discriminated against as badly as any African race when they first came over- legally I might add. Her family came through Ellis Island. The Poles who came through at the same time were all called stupid and backwards. The Irish were called good for nothing drunks. They all got shit and they all immigrated following the law. Oh - and the Italians and Poles taught themselves English in order to fit in. Duh..
You say I have zero know knowledge of history when I already know all that you've told me here: the Poles, Italians, and Irish came here legally, were discriminated against, and eventually learned English to fit in.
What does this even have to do with what I discussed? All three groups are white, regardless of their languages and nations, and managed to assimilate... because they're white! And they were never considered non-white by the government. But such assimilation was not a picnic and all three groups brought their problems.
The notion that any sob from the four corners of the world can assimilate because he has a skill set for working on computers or in medicine is asinine.
They all got shit and they all immigrated following the law.
No, they weren't all law abiding and some caused a great deal of trouble.
Non-whites do not assimilate in large numbers and can't. Ever visit a predominantly Asian, Pakistani, Indian, Caribbean, or South American town in NYC? Did you fit in. Can
you assimilate into one of them? Better yet, can
you park yourself in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East and assimilate to their nations?
It's quite funny you stated I have no knowledge of history considering one of my pastimes is reading up on history. And just this afternoon I viewed a documentary involving the Irish and Italian experiences in New York City.
