The New York Post has obtained and published an official copy of Ilhan Omar's sister's marriage certificate.

It describes their father as "Nur Said Elmi," and his profession as a "military officer.

More evidence that she is not who she says she is.

Ilhan Nur Said Elmi a/k/a Ilhan Omar "married" Ahmed Nur Said Elmi -- both Muslims -- in a ceremony presided over by a Christian minister in Feb. 2009.

This was seven years after Ilhan had Islamically married Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her then-two children, and months after she had dissolved that marriage "Islamically."

Ilhan and Ahmed Elmi proceeded to attend North Dakota State University, and records show the pair lived for some overlapping period with Ahmed Hirsi.

Two years into the Ilhan-Ahmed Elmi "marriage," Ahmed Hirsi impregnated Ilhan with her third child, who is born in June 2012. The two "reconcile" and will remain married under U.S. law and/or Islamically until they legally divorce in 2019.

Supposedly, Ilhan and Ahmed Elmi had no contact "since before the child was conceived" -- just a couple years into their marriage. (Social media evidence will completely contradict this assertion, suggesting Ilhan perjured herself in the marriage dissolution proceedings.)

There was an "irretrievable breakdown" for some reason between Ilhan and Ahmed Elmi -- it all seems to have become unraveled in a couple years.

None of this passes the smell test.

If, in her own words in her own autobiography, Omar was eight when this occurred in 1989, then she was born in 1981, and was 19 years old in the year 2000, when her father purportedly obtained his citizenship, not 1982 as she currently claims.

Scott emphasizes a key point that has gotten short shrift in re the alleged Ilhan Nur Said Elmi a/k/a Ilhan Omar sham marriage to her Brother-Husband.

It isn't just the shared name deriving from the father, or Elmi's blatant flamboyance, or the fact a Christian minister "married" these two Muslims.

Ilhan Omar was jointly filing tax returns with the actual father of her children who she was married to Islamically (though not under U.S. law till later on).

Incidentally, we learned about the tax return issue because Omar improperly used campaign funds as a Minnesota State Rep. to hire tax and immigration attorneys to tie up loose threads as rumors emerged of her alleged sham marriage to her Brother-Husband in the run-up to the 2016 general election.

The alleged sham marriage was a total afterthought.
