nobody makes quality products these days

so i was looking around amazon for a few basic items...

since im nowhere near the ice machine at the mirage, or have the big ass ice machine fridge that ronnie and jay does, i still use ice trays... its impossible to find one on amazon that got all good reviews... it cannot be done! they're all faulty! every single brand.

sure there's plenty up there with 4 star reviews, but its the 1 star reviews that are interesting... they break, they leak... after a few months they start to smell... the ice cubes get stuck.. etc etc

then i look for a plastic container that's air tight... not sure i really need one but hey suppose i wanna store some cookies for longer, some vegetables or somethig... well there's not a single brand that make airtight plastic containers (or glass for that matter) i check the reviews again... "not airtight" "leaking" "got moisture on the inside"... its incredible in this day and age nobody care to make a simple thing as a plastic container with a solid lid on it...

and it goes on and on. seems nobody cares about fixing a problem, making it better, putting out quality products...

Some people are idiots so you can’t always consider their review if they were using the product wrong. Usually there will be context clues in the review that give them away. Look for signs that the person was trying to cheap out or using the product for something other than it’s recommended use. Even the best product sometimes has a dud that makes its way to the end user. Amazon sells goods from resellers also and those resellers may not always be the best place to buy from.

Chinese crap. The vendors on Ebay and Amazon even disguise the manufacturers so people won't know it's coming from China. I buy lots of stuff on both and often my dealings with Chinese sellers is bad. They are generally dishonest and evasive.
