Why would Barr need to have a public press conference before providing the report to Congress

It makes absolutely no sense unless you're attempting to skew public opinion or do damage control which of course is NOT the job of the Attorney General of the United States

Question: On April 9th you said "I've said what I'm going to say about the report today…I'm not going to say anything more about it until the report is out and everyone's had a look at it."

Presuming you were not lying to Congress when you made that statement why did you change your mind and decide to say more about it before the report is out and everyone has had a chance to look at it?

I said Trump doesn't like to follow the rules. I've always maintained that these acts may not rise to the level of crimes.
BUT, they don't appear to be ethical . Even AG Barr said; " At least 10 times , Trump "MAY" have obstructed the investigation".

I think my assessment is what the published Mueller report will reveal. We shall see.

Once again, I don't think this will result in Trump's impeachment.
BUT, I do think it will look bad and hurt his chances to win a 2nd term.

For some reason, I doubt you watch much CNN. So, coming from someone (me), who watches it a lot, the permanent guest commentators who represent a conservative perspective and explicitly support Trump, even through his many outrageous tweets and public statements, haven't gone anywhere is the last year or so. So, I beg to differ from you with regards to this matter.

Oh I watch it and I even watched it yesterday when like a panel of 8 were all basically saying the same thing and just bitching and complaining. It's fucking over. The left switched from "collusion' to obstruction when there was no crime to obstruct. The only crime was the silent coup to take out a duly elected President through a proven fake dossier and once again, proved to be paid for by Clinton.

Trump won the election, was fully investigated and wasn't found guilty of any criminal activity.

This is an extremely naive post but lets say this was actually true (which isn't even close to being true) at the very least she lied to Congress as admitted by Comey. I could show you the proof of that. Why did she get a pass on that?
