I like when an uneducated dummy like you tries to sound logical. Nowadays, people don't know how to lift, do a simple movement, they use poor form when they are fresh and not even close to being fatigue,
 
Intensity is a separate issue from the amount of resistance use. You can train very intensely with moderate weights.

It's just so astonishing how liberals lie so effortlessly, the way Leftist like you, conker, Abraham just say things that are demonstrably untrue. That has already been proven untrue. It's like you really believe that if you keep repeating the same lie it will magically appear to be true. I've posted pics of my arms for years. Even though they are nowhere near pro size it's an arm that has distinct muscle development. An arm that doesn't just happen from doing nothing. Compared to yours I make you look like you've never picked up a weight in your life. Granted your pic is old and you could easily post a recent one to prove me wrong but you won't because you know, and everybody else knows, you would be laughed off the board.
You have no appreciable development despite your years of training. That's because you don't have the will and drive to push yourself to a state where you are even slightly uncomfortable. You just pick a weight that you can comfortably do for 8-10 reps. The sit around for 3-4 minutes on your phone, or watching TV, of bull-shitting with others just like you accomplishing nothing in the hour and a half you're there.

It sounds wonderful on paper but it doesn’t work. There is a critical intensity threshold you need to go above to elicit physical adaptation. What is that threshold? For lifting- about 70 % of 1 RM. Varies with the individual. Below that nothing changes.

If you do go above that threshold, changes happen quickly and you don’t need a lot of volume. People push these high volume workouts because they know people don’t like to hurt. With high volume it is the very last sets, when you are getting heavily fatigued, that cause growth. You essentially have pre- exhausted a lot of muscular fibers so the remaining ones go above the threshold to finish the movement. 

If you like to spend time in the gym, do volume. If you want to spend as little time working out as possible, do intensity. If you want to get sick and weak, do high volume, high intensity.
