Prime, but they are not educating teenagers about pedophilia. They are normalizing it as just "another" sexual orientation.

Educating teenagers about pedophilia would include teaching them about sexual abuse, the signs of sexual abuse, characteristics of a pedophile, how to talk to others about sexual abuse, how to protect oneself, suicide, etc.

From what I read, they are not doing that. They are just brainwashing them that "its another sexual orientation." This is not education. It's pushing an agenda that "everyone must be accepted" if it's deemed their sexual orientation.  

In fact, sexual abuse education does not include informing teenagers that its just another sexual orientation. There is nothing in the literature that supports this idea in terms of psychoeducation.

I expected there would be immediate push back on my post. Just for the record, I am in no way defending pedophilia or pedophiles.

Ignorance is never a good thing. I'd prefer my kids knew about pedophilia and pedophiles than not know. In a perfect world, parents would be who educates their kids about these types of issues/dangers. Unfortunately, not all do.
