I agree.  That's why I ended up including the second part before I hit "post".  I didn't have that in there at first, but thought back to so many vids I've seen of Trump supporters getting their hats knocked off, and stories of them being attacked. 

I live in a red state, and although I don't own a MAGA hat; I would have no hesitancy about putting one on here.  I openly talk about my views on him, and the dems especially when I know the person I'm talking to hates him.  If I lived in Cali or NY I'm sure I wouldn't be so bold.

The only reason I don't own one is because I don't know of a place that sells them in person for me to try one on, and about 1 outta 10 hats look/fit good on me.  I'm waiting for the primaries, and then the general election to find some good shirts though!!!

I live in the Bluest state in the country, but we are friendly, and I'm larger than the average bear, so I'm not worried about my safety.  lol 

But I travel a lot and talk politics with people all over the country.  I've encountered numerous people in the heartland who say pretty much the same thing:  they don't agree with how Trump acts or what he says all the time, but they support what he is doing.  It's anecdotal evidence, but I really believe there are millions of people out there like that.
