Well, when "it's time" I guess we're all just supposed to throw away all logic and vote just for that simple reason.
I've said this multiple times on here, but I will say it again. I have zero problem with gayness as long as people just go about their business like straight people do. If a person is truly wronged just for being gay, I would stick up for them. If they're an annoying drama queen that brought it upon themselves, and then they throw out the "it's cuz I'm gay" card then they can go fuck off.
The truth of the matter is that being the only super power comes with a different level of expectations. A gay male president is not going to be received well by any other country besides France, and I could give two fucks what their snotty bitch ass country thinks.....we'd wipe them off the map in an hour if they ever stepped on our toes. Putin, all of the middle east, and Asian countries that are big on family will have no respect for us.
Iran would likely see it as an opportunity to go balls to the wall as they get support from all Muslims. Israel would be obliterated, and we'd be too worried about protecting ourselves at that point to do anything about it. You would not be able to convince men to go to battle over some of these bullshit wars we've been in with a gay male leader. The "hoorah" spirit of this nation would be dead, and if you think that this nation is divided and the POTUS is disliked now just see what happens when he gets off AF 1 holding his husband's hand and smooching like that.
I would vote for a lesbian POTUS before I would vote for a gay male, as I think people view a female leader the same either way. You never hear about any female leader's spouse. Honestly, was Margaret Thatcher ever married??? I have no clue, and she was around like what 15+ years ago?
Sorry, but I'm not being bigoted......I'm simply stating the facts as I see them. Most importantly I think his politics suck. His city is a fucking shithole, and he's running it. DJT's "city" is a shithole too, but he was not calling the shots.
Our country is thriving right now, and making a change to what any of the dems are talking about right now would be asinine. People that vote with their "hearts" are fucking sheep, and care more about ideals than their country. The fact is that if we lose our country, they will no longer have the right to express their ideals. A real American votes with as many facts as they can possibly gather, uses rational thinking, and votes with their hand over their heart.
