Joshua was done after he went down for the second time in the round. He didn't show any interest that he wanted to really go on.

Joshua may have responded but his body language was saying no more. He walked away from the referee after the standing eight count and drifted over to his corner.

He might have been trying to buy some more time to recover, but the referee was done with the nonsense.

I hope Ruiz doesn't take the full Buster Douglas path.

He lost his very next fight to Holyfield.

Evander dropped him in the third. Lights out.

Ruiz is as tough as anybody in the division.

I for one think that Ruiz will stay hungry and hopefully make some future great fight.

Great fights in most of the divisions is what has been sorely lacking in todays boxing.

The best fighting the best is what the fans want and I don`t see Ruiz ducking anyone because he`s hungry.

Well....I said Ruiz would come too fight no matter what and he did...but like most didn’t see him winning
You know it’s always interesting too see everyone’s reaction after someone lose for the first time.

BEFORE Tyson lost too Douglas most people were on the Tyson bandwagon...as soon as he lost...the same experts immediately proclaimed Mike Tyson was “overrated” forgetting everything he’d done BEFORE then...that’s human nature...it’s fickle and predictable.

Joshua is a good fighter but he’s like ANYONE...you can get caught @ anytime and he got caught, Ruiz fought like he always does hard and fast and doesn’t take a backward step and takes a hell of a punch deserves his moment.

Before people jump off the bandwagon that’s been currently Joshua...let’s see how he responds too getting beaten...then we might actually see what he’s made of instead of assuming he’s “done” @ 29-30 years old.
