Why not? You can own a lot of cars, dogs, cats, technical gadgets, clothes, you name it. Why are guns any different, it is nothing special, it is an object nothing more.

Im 52 and never growing up did we have school shootings and just random assholes running around killing each other in the streets 70s 80s 90s we didn't have these issues so don't look down on those who have guns those who go to shooting ranges lets find out the cause for this increase of assholes getting guns and put a stop to it there....

funny when we were in a gas crisis everyone tried to blame and criticize people who drove trucks and big suvs it was there choice to drive gas guzzlers they didn't cause the gas crisis...

Hah, I remember all the trucks at my high school, having rifles and shotguns hanging in the rear window.  Not a single bullet was ever fired.

Can you own a knife, a machete, a bow, a baseball bat... guns can be used for sports, hunting etc. grow some balls and stop the guilt trip on others beacuse its stupid.
