What was interesting was how Nasser El Sonbaty in 1995/1996 put an end to the “Dillett is a freak” talk. At that time Nasser took over that role.

A few years later, Ronnie Coleman and Markus Ruhl took over the “Freak” role.

Dillett could not keep up. He was too lazy.

If his back wasn't so bloated and soft he would have been the greatest bodybuilder of all time. He really needed some heavy back training. Off drugs, wow did he look bad.

Lifting weights will never be rocket science. There have been champions who were idiots and trained with no real plan. There were guys that trained really scientifically yet could never win the big one. Like Jeff Everson wrote in his great article titled, " Until pigs fly you don't have to be a scientist to be a bodybuilder."

True, his back killed his contest placings along with being so dehydrated he froze up onstage.  Lucky he didn't end up dead like Momo Benaziza.

Relatively tall, which made him even more impressive IMHO. Bodybuilding is a short man’s game for the most part.

His structure similar to Nasser made it difficult for him to bring his back up.

Genetic freak, he took less than half of what Flex did and ate one meal a day, his response was unbelievable.

But no matter what angle they tried they just couldn't get those lats to respond, the structure arms and rear delts just wouldn't allow it.

If his lats and rear delts were like the rest of him and he could come in shape every contest there would be a different conversation about best ever.
