Did Rocky walk back from Russia (very slowly?)

At the end of Rocky 4 it shows Rocky s kid watching his dad beat the evil Russian. Kid looks about 7. Then in the beginning of Rocky 5 as Rocky returns from Russia the kid looks 12.
Did Rocky walk back from Russia,  very slowly, or something?

I heard through the grapevine that we stole Drago's wife, and hung around Russia for a few years.  Here's a pic.

He took a wrong turn ended up in Africa adopted a few then swam the rest of the way home..YO ADRIAN

Also isn't "Union Cane " the most forgettable character in the series.

Michael Anthony Williams is an American actor and former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2000. He is most notable for portraying fictional boxer Union Cane in the 1990 film Rocky V.
