Bruh. No. You claimed the picture showed several states, including Washington, Oregon, New York, etc. as either tossup or red states. What I'm trying to explain is that the "picture" was just a still of an incomplete map from the video. During the video, he fills in states that he thinks will be red or blue. All of the states you said might be red were actually blue. But you would know that if you watched the video. As I said, he actually did a good job with his analysis.
And you can dismiss every poll or projection if you want. You obviously have the right to do that. But there are a number of pollsters who are pretty accurate. They all miss, but overall the good ones are . . . pretty good.
That said, Trump has changed everything and made predictions much more volatile.
No, assuming that map's gray areas represented states whose vote was not yet determined which could otherwise be termed as 'toss ups' and not red states. And then noticing that Oregon was one of them and knowing Oregon more often than not votes predominantly Democrat, it piqued my interest in the accuracy of the map. I only looked at other states whose electoral count could make a difference in this election’s results and found several that also had a history of voting for the Democratic Presidential candidate which if they voted as they had previously would flip the electoral count to Democrat.
So, if as you suggest the still photo of the map was incomplete, which it may have intentionally been, why show it at all except to suggest as the wording actually does, that it devastates the Democratic vote. Please point out where I suggested any of the gray states were red. It was the poster of that map who made that suggestion, not me. The few states I picked have been consistently blue for decades. Why did they not post a map reflecting this?
His analysis follows the posting of the map. Many if not most folks, like me would likely never watch the video and probably most of them would see the map as evidence that states who historically vote blue would be voting red in the upcoming election. If this map and following video were an advertisement, it would be considered false advertising.
I dismiss all polls because I don't gamble and for the most part, they are meaningless. Unlike pollsters and their followers, I do not predict winners and losers in hopes of convincing other folks how to vote, knowing that human nature is for folks to go with a presumed winner. Also, if none of the pollsters ever came close, anyone with a modicum of intelligence would completely ignore them except as an amusement or entertainment.
