After a cooling off period, Andrew Cuomo will be a contributor to CNN, MSNBC, or some other outlet.

Well he didn't become a commentator, but not all surprised by his attempted comeback.  Who is next . . . Anthony Weiner??

Maybe or maybe not. We won't know until November 4, 2025.

He was directly responsible for killing a lot of elderly people in New York during Covid, profited off of it, but kept his job.  They only ran him out of office when he got hit with all the "me too" stuff.

Now maybe he'll get a 2nd chance to finish the job.

Barring a miracle (like ending the Iran war tomorrow, gas prices immediately plummeting, etc.), I predict the Democrats take the House and the GOP narrowly retains the Senate.

This will be followed by multiple attempts to impeach President Trump in the House, which if successful will fail (again) in the Senate.

Libtards taking the House will end the war (thankfully) but we'll have to deal with their shit again. I still prefer balance to 1 party rule.

Do we really have one party rule?  The GOP hasn't done squat for two years.  All of the EOs President Trump signed can simply be undone by the next Democrat president.  There has been very little substantive legislation.

The House funds the war. These Republicans allow these start-stop-reset clock shit to go on. The libtards will not.

I still stand by my comments when this started about the uranium, confirmations by the IAEA, etc....

But the messaging has been horrible, all this Canada stuff is crap, and prices are not good, which always impact the vote more than anything.

Only save is that the left has no sense of itself, and keeps putting forth socialist loons, so they could still fuck it up.

But overall agree with Dos' prediction.

I agree with you, the GOP has not done squat in the last two years. One thing they have done is take a lot of time off. As of September 17, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives has been on breaks for roughly 160 calendar days since January 20, 2025, and the Senate has been on breaks for 176 days.

Presently, Republicans control the House and Senate and therefore their leadership is responsible for setting the schedule, (as in days worked verses days off). What work do you propose Democrats do when Republicans are on recess?

I don't know, when you were working, did you not show up when your boss wasn't there? Nobody I know gets time off when their boss has time off.

I'd propose they show up, maybe review material, starting with science books to figure out what a woman is? Maybe they could try reading the Constitution? You could have Habeeb Jeffries read it to the class and test them afterwards?
