I know a lot of people have very strong views about this sort of thing, but personally I'm rarely bothered by any of it...

However, even easy-going ol' Taffin found the highlighted sentence in an old edition of The Blaze a bit of a stretch...

Transgender activist: Straight men should 'work through' non-attraction to transgender women

Seems it's not enough for transgenders to merely push for acceptance and force laws to change so they can use bathrooms that correspond to whatever gender they identify with. Hitting deeper, the new push has been to get people to speak transgenders' preferred pronouns in conversations — or suffer shaming and backlash.

What could possibly be next, you might ask?

Well, one transgender activist insists that straight men who don't desire transgender women simply have an issue they "should try to work through." In other words — according to Zinnia Jones of Orlando, Florida — straight men should be willing to be romantic with biological men who identify as women. And if not, as Jones gets into soon, they ought to be viewed as holding an odd opinion.

"I also don't believe the blanket claim of 'straight men don't want to be with someone who has a d***!'" Jones adds before getting into stats without citing any stats.

"It's absolutely possible to work through this," Jones adds with the verve of a motivational speaker. "It's a d***? Yes — a woman's. It's part of her body. Time to get with the program, straight guys."

Well, it’s a free country for her to have her opinion, but sexual chemistry is not something you “work through”. It either is or it isn’t. Her consolation should be that there already are surprisingly large numbers of straight men who watch that flavor of porn from what the porn industry statisticians report.

There was an Aussie guy who they brought in half way through the show to shake things up. I worked for his Dad's small business a few years after the show aired. I laughed when he mentioned it was his son on it. They all sued the show for 30,000 Pounds, the Aussie only got $10K

A few month back, or could’ve been as much as a year ago, I was reading an article about an actor who claimed there were not enough roles going to trans people played by trans people. It made me think, have they ever thought that maybe the other actor isn’t gay and doesn’t want to be romantic with someone of the same sex on screen?

I knew it was only a matter of time before something like this popped up.

It really only boils down to this. I mean I know some people truly feel like they are the wrong sex--I believe that. But the casual cross dressing dude is just wearing a costume.

I really dunno. Both the American Medical Association and American Psychiatric Association have changed their stance and no longer call it a mental disorder. I mean their the professionals so.. I think they're going with an extreme form of body dysmorphia as being a motivating factor.
However, most of the ones I know or fucked have been bat-shit coo-coo in some way.
Conversely- I don't know what it feels like to NOT want to be a man. I know I'm into men--but I never wanted to be in a position where my partner viewed me as some sort of female. That must be a horrible existence.
I can't tell you how many bottoms I've been with that are NOT trans--do NOT dress up--but want to be treated like a girl in bed. Granted, I've only been with feminine men--so maybe that's expected-- BUT I know of other masculine acting gay guys that want the same exact thing in bed.
