Back in the day I went to a Night of the Champions contest in Manhattan. Back in those days the champs and guest posers for the pre judging just walked in the main door for the venue. I saw a bunch of the current stars of the day. I saw Zane, Robby, Padilla, Grant and many others that day. In the lobby was one guy that wasn't competing or guest posing. It was Mike in dress pants and regular button down shirt. He was clearly the biggest bodybuilder there. Gigantic chest with a small waist.

He's also one of the few bodybuilders to make money.  He was a NY Jet then hurt his knee and he was put on the practice squad the year before they won the Super Bowl.  He was a serious athlete. Imagine he almost had a Super Bowl ring and the Mr. Universe title. After leaving the NFL he became a school teacher then he owned a string of successful gyms. He didn't have a rusty bike anymore. He could afford to buy the most expensive car off the show room floor.

During the show, he stumbled on stage in the middle of some guy’s posing routine and started mumbling something about how Kenny won and if anyone has seen his blue t-shirt and crusher. It really ruined the entire show.
