First they would count zero and second they would have him doing that for about an hour to teach him a lesson about cheating the exercise. Bodybuilders are no better. Go in every gym and watch guys doing half chest presses with flat, incline, and decline presses especially with dumbbells. Then shoulder presses with half reps seated so they can slide their ass out to incline the weight. Don't get me going on leg presses and dead lifting with the bar raised in a power rack.
