ever have a bacon doughnut holy crap you can put bacon on anything :P

Never had it on a donut but bacon on anything always makes it better

Definitely one of the best, if not the best, tasting foods, but my digestive system doesn’t appreciate it.🤢

That’s harsh mate I think I’d sooner have aids than have that happen to me

It's funny, I was reading an article not too long ago, and apparently  chicken parm and meatballs are both technically American dishes.  Italian Americans made those dishes in the US and  they're not easy to find in Italy. Someone mentioned sausage and peppers upthread and that's also an American dish. Pepperoni, too, is American. I've known a few native Italians who have called it disgusting.

Just a reminder, today is National Lasagna Day as well as National Chicken Wing Day.

So, if you haven't done so already, text your bitch and tell her she'd better have both of these things on the table by the time you get home.  ;)

Same here.  My favorite Sunday cheat meal is a large pizza and dozen krispy kreme donuts to wash it down.

Assuming though, that pizza is truly an italian dish my mount rushmore of italian food is

pizza
lasagna
ravioli
gnochi

*lasagna needs to be cooked and refrigerated the day before eating .

I love Italian food but not hugely fund of lasagne. Would rather just have either pizza or spaghetti when going Italian.
