Whats the reasoning used by dealers when they put up a new listing without a price or pictures for 1-2+ weeks  ???

When a new listing is put up on cars.com/carguru etc - Often there is no price or pictures for a week or more. Why?

I agree , they want to get the jump on the next guy. Dealer I talked to asked if I wanted to come look at the car................on the lift  ???  ::)
