Why is it a different matter? Is there some magic age when it is no longer okay to do this? If it's a bodybuilding competition, a posing suit makes sense.
Not too bright, huh? Open your eyes. It's not age per se. It's how he looks at any age. Robby Robinson can get up on stage, as can Tony Pearson. Not only do they look good for their age, they look good period. This fella, great for his age, but does not look good to be on stage. Just like Jason Genova and Big Lenny. Both young and I would say that at least, Jason, looks better than most people his age, but neither belongs on stage. So it's not age per se. It's how you look. But it's just a fact that it's much harder to look like a stage ready bber when you are over 70. So the vast majority, at least those with some sense of self-awareness, stick to tank tops and bicycle shorts in the gym and wow their friends and relatives.
Just because you put on a posing suit doesn't mean you belong on stage. It further diminishes and cheapens the event when a guy puts on a posing suit masquerading as a stage ready bber when it's clear to everyone he's not.
Again great when you compare him to people over 70 years old because a majority are dead by that age. But he's still an old man with skinny legs, arms and wrinkly skin.
I know this hits close to home. You are a good example. You look way better than most people your age but I doubt, or sincerely hope, you have no ambitions to get up on stage in posing trunks.
