What would happen if you took an aromatase inhibitor without taking testosterone

From what I understand, nothing would happen and your estradiol levels would stay the same. But I feel like you could still tank your estrogen even though you arne't converting any test to estrogen in the similar amounts as if you were on high dose exogenous testosterone. I'm not talking about a suicidal AI like aromasin, I'm talking about something like anastrozole (arimidex)

My buddy did this last year for a couple months.He got leaner and drier but after a few weeks felt crappy.

I have done that with bloodwork way before taking any AAS. I took anastrozole and letrozole(separately).

You block the natural conversion of some of your testosterone to estrogen,therefore you have more test.

My estro didn't crash,I took 1 mg adex e3d for example.

My test went from 400 to 750,and estro went down from 40 to 10-15.


I was training vigorously then,and I think it contributed to muscle gain.

No other problems,except that both of them(they are very close chemically),are toxic to my liver. My enzimes rose steadily,so I had to stop. Even after stopping adex,my ALT went to 200 eventually and then returned to normal.

The studies on men taking ai's naturally show decreases of about 50% or somewhat more of estrogen. That's with taking .5 mg to 1mg of adex (for example) a day.

It will tank estro on trt, etc., though.

10 years ago at the age of 34 my doctor put me on 1 mg of adex because my E2 was in the 40’s

2 months later after blood work my E2 was still high 40’s

So he put me on 2mgs of adex

2 months later my E2 was went down to low 20’s my total test was 1260

I don’t remember what free T was

AI’s can affect your lipid profile negatively as well

I felt fine - if you have minor/acute gyno - i highly recommend the letro protocol. Pm me or simply google it.

i did take a Viagra every so often out the blue to keep my member happy. i took the letro for 30 days around 2.5 mg daily and took 1.25mg after that.

i really wouldn't recommend taking letro....  unless you have gyno or need to shed water weight for a show. too many ppl get nasty sides of feel like shit/worn out. i did not feel worn out at all.

i know so guys take letro 3-4 weeks before a show to get the low back/hamstrings tight
