Drugs are amazing. Rhoden just three weeks into a drug regiment will make drastic changes. 15 weeks like someone else said about drugs is a life time.  That's why this "sport" is just bull shit.

Looks a little better, but at this point it is safe to say that no matter what he does over the next 15 weeks he will not end up looking *better* than he did last year. Just not enough time to make those kinds of changes. But he could come in looking around the same. I don't think that will win the Mr. O again though.

Probably not. Will lilkely look slightly worse than last year. Guys are lazy now..just mega dose gear for the last 16 weeks and hope it works.

Got it. I usually don't have the patience or interest to watch these bbing discussions, and I'm not a Shawn Ray fan, but this was pretty interesting and insightful.

He looks the same as Shawn Ray did in those shots of him guest posing that have been posted here many times. Shawn must have forgotten about those pics every time he rips on Rhoden.

Rhoden could stick to a diet that drops his weight and in three weeks would look drastically different from those photos. That's not even counting drugs. Water retention is a big thing and how he looks now is fine. Of course any drastic change is all drugs  .

He's 44? he's not going to gain more muscle from last year no matter what he does, he's aiming to come in the same or better condition and had a rest from using too many hormones offseason which is why he's still in fucking great shape when it matters at 44 years old. Phil Heath is still better if he doesn't look 7 months pregnant in every shot except he has for the past few years so highly doubt that's going to change if he turns up.

Fair enough, yet Shawn and even Lee Priest (other than once) always showed up in great shape at shows no matter what their offseason. I don't see why anyone think Rhoden won't drastically change in 3-4 weeks let alone 15. He looks like he's on low dose and eating a bit, 2-3 weeks of cleaning his diet will change him drastically.

Doesn’t matter what he’ll look like in 15 weeks. He’s already disgraced his title. This is like Usain Bolt showing up 15 weeks prior to the Olympics and getting beat by a high school girl. Or Brian Shaw getting outlifted by a fat boy 15 weeks before the WSM competition.

He's entitled to his opinion. Thanks. I will say I agree with him with the exception of his health. Things have changed since the days of Dallas McCarver and the others that passed before him even the younger bodybuilders are much more cautious and with Shawn’s age (44) I don’t see him being that reckless especially with as old school as Aceto is. If he was being coached by Milos, Nichols, etc I’d be more concerned. That’s my opinion

15 weeks is a lifetime in bodybuilding terms. I do agree that he isn't the most radiant and outgoing of the Mr.O winners, but most of them nowadays aren't.

Frankly, not since Arnold's era have I seen a Mr. O winner that was both radiant and outgoing when off the stage. All of them, with the exception of Arnold, have been as exciting as watching paint dry.

Certainly had a good personality, but not the type of presence that would make a dent in places like say late night talkshows. Arnold would own those shows and make himself the director leading the event. Ronnie would simply be fed questions.
