At 170 you were in the 75 kg weight class. You could have been competing against someone who weighed no more than 181 lbs. (approximately). If you were over 23 and under 40 years of age you'd have been in the open class.


My friend Earl entered a power-lifting competition at around 75 years of age, which put him in the master's 4 class. He won his class because there was no competition. I'd guess his weight at 170 or a little over. Haven't seen him for a longtime. He developed Parkinson's and gradually became more and more debilitated.

Yours is an impressive height. I have three nieces who are a couple of inches taller than you. Their dad was 6'5" and their mom was around 5'10". I gather you consider yourself a Thoroughbred.
