There's nothing wrong with being gay or straight or bisexual.
So as long as all sexual activities take place between two consenting adults and is not hurting any bystanders in the process, it is perfectly fine.
For instance, I am married and live in NYC. If my husband and I walk by two school-aged children (say elementary school age), we would not randomly decide to make out directly in front of them. Common wisdom would suggest that we have every legal right to do so, as it would not bring any harm upon them, but just for the sake of decency, we decide to not do that kind of thing. Likewise, if a straight couple is around the same children while on the street, I would hope that they also wouldn't try to suck each other's face off. There's a time and a place for everything is my stance.
Ultimately, so as long as people choose their own paths and do so without any over-convincing by specific groups, I think there is nothing wrong with the decision for someone to be gay. With that said, even though I am gay (ie homosexual), acting like a faggot is truly a choice, one in which I do not partake. Believe me when I say there is a distinct difference between the two classifications and any gay man will tell you the same. So while I don't want the derogatory term to offend anyone, I believe these things can be spoken about objectively. It is perfectly fine, in my opinion, for a man to want to be with another man. What I don't like is when men willingly decide to become all effeminate with the high pitched voice, while sporting a limp wrist. I frown upon that kind of nonsense and usually tell people to cut the shit.
These are just one gay man's opinions, so I can be very wrong with my view. I grew up during a different time, so much of the activity I took part in was kept in the closet and/or behind closed doors. Today, I am happy with my sexual preference, but I also don't need to shove it down everyone's throat. For that kind of foreplay, I keep a man at home.
