I think I speak for the majority of GetBiggers when I say we pay little mind to our stock holdings preferring to have Warren at Berkshire work his magic and we just roll the dividends back in. Our time is best spent maintaining our 260'ish, 4 % physiques and attending art auctions in NY, London, Paris and banging our super model girlfriends and their girlfriends. Who has time for stocks?

A little over 8000 shares...but only because I still have shares when I worked for Alltel years ago. However i only have access to a small portion..the rest I cannot get until I'm 65

Yes I have substantial shareholdings. As part of my job, I co-found companies (buy-side) before financing them and taking them public (IPO). I don't generally own more than 5% of any given company though and my long-term investing is in market indexes (Vanguard i.e. not individual stock).

about right but the market fluctuates..but having a half mil is hardly enough to retire. The amount is meaningless

I've held so many in the last 10 years: Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Square, Microsoft, Apple, Disney to name a few...waiting for Boeing to fall further. I have a small side business as well. Always looking for more income sources.
