It kind of does. The OP asked what causes racism. My answer: one reason is direct, up-close, chronic contact with other races.

Now, you want to take it in another direction.

We have not even finished debating or come to sort of resolution regarding:
1) whether pride in one's culture/race is needed for individual success?
2) what is the motivation of people like Matt for continuously spouting off the success of the white race, since he has not really succeeded in anything he does?
As for contact with other races, I was born and raised in NYC, went to a predominantly all-black high school, and I've worked in Harlem, Compton, Watts and Inglewood, and I currently live in a state that is pretty damn diverse.
