Rodman was 7 time all-defensive first team, 2 time defensive POTY. Not to mention a nWo member and POTUS ally. Remove him from this list at once.

Rodman could guard every position on the floor except...maybe...PG. He was also the single greatest offensive rebounder I've ever seen.

I agree about Karl Malone but Rodman could dominate a game without taking a shot.

He did an outstanding job guarding Shaq in the playoffs for fucksakes.  I can't abide.

Rodman actually belongs on the "Most underrated" nba forwards list.

I'm calling OP a schmuck until further notice.

Malone was always solid in the middle.  You aren't beating Jordan with 2 white boys on the perimeter, just not happening. He may have needed a change of scenery (Portland - Houston) like Dexler to win a championship.

Blake griffin was more overrated. At one point people were considering him a top 10 player in the league. He was just a dunker.
Melo was overrated as well.

I like that you have Curry on there.  Steve Nash though? Lebron?

I'm no Lebron fan but he's not really overrated in my eyes.

1. Derrick Coleman
2. Shawn Kemp
3. Keith Van Horne

The first two could've been all time greats if they didn't get involved with drugs and weight gain. Once Coleman started to gain weight, he lived behind the 3 point line. He was 6'10". Kemp got fat and watched his playing minutes dwindle with each passing season until he became nothing more than a role player. Van Horne couldn't defend anybody.

Shawn Kemp was too busy making babies to work on his game.

Shawn Kemp was awesome up until 1996 when he lost to the Bulls in the finals. Then he turned into complete shit.

1.  CARMELO ANTHONY!!!

Carmelo is/was a pure scorer. His was really good during his first 8 years in the league. Then he stopped playing defense. Not sure I would call him overrated. Now he's just washed up at age 35.

That was gonna be my addition as well!  Scored a ton of points, but was never an efficient player.  Was also horribly defensively.

Some of you guys are gonna hate me for this, but I'd also add Pippen to this list.  If it wasn't for Jordan carrying him his whole career and getting him 6 rings, he wouldn't be looked at the same way that he is.  Dude averaged 16, 6 and 5 for his career and was put on the top 50 list in 1996!  There are dozens of players who everyone forgot about that had a similar career to pippen, they just didn't have the good fortune of playing with the G.O.A.T.

You're crazy, dude. Pippen was an absolute stud on both ends of the floor. If it wasn't for Pippen, Jordan would have won NOTHING. How can you say Jordan carried him? That's ridiculous. In 94-95, Pippen carried a Jordan-less Bulls to 55 wins and one win away from the NBA finals. You also forgot to mention he averaged 2 steals a game for his career.

I'm biased because Pippen is my favorite all time player. He played and excelled in the greatest era of basketball. The 90's, when MEN played the game. Not like the powder puffs of today.

Give Jordan any other halfway decent player and the bulls would have had the same success.  He was a good defensive player, but was and is massively overrated!  Look at his stats, there are probably at least 2 dozen other players who have similar stat lines and are largely forgotten.  Combine that with the fact that Pippen said that Lebron is better than Jordan, and it's the reason I can't fucking stand him! Dude shit on the one person who gave him lifelong notoriety!
