Rhoden is the one to beat this year, and since it looks like Phil Heath might be afraid to compete, perhaps someone else will step to the plate.

Overall, I think Phil is vastly superior to Rhoden.

Phil is def much better, his details and shape in person is very impressive in competition form

Never cared for rhoden, people used to critique Cormier for having a “boring” physique but rhoden takes it to another level imo. Roelly and Curry are much more impressive

Phil crushes Rhoden on several poses. It’s the midsection that the judges are focusing on. Can Phil overcome his midsection problem?

Let me guess, you were the guy that thought that Levrone was going to beat Phil in 2016. How did you feel when Levrone landed in last place?

PS: Palumbo also thought that Levrone was going to beat Phil. Another reason to dismiss Dave as an so called “expert”

I still think Phil wins if he competes. Also have Brandon Curry up there, too. But this update picture is definitely impressive. If he has made this much improvements so far, its possible he might even be able to come in a little better than last year (if he does everything right and goes insane in the gym, high with the supps, etc).

The point is, it isn't whether who's better, it's a matter of who comes in the best condition. Most of you judged him a month ago instead of September and wrote him off over a month ago.

Going well. I learned on getbig that training and diet is just as important as drugs, so I am going to rely mostly on diet and training.

As someone mentioned above, people gave Chris Cormier crap for having a boring physique, yet the same could be said about Rhoden.
