I don't think it would matter. Even at a legal brothel if a client picks out a woman, she is agreeable, he pays, and then heads to a private room, she can still say "no" at any time before or during whatever act is taking place. If the client ignores the woman's command and continues, he has committed sexual assault.

I agree with the decision. You can't put yourself in these type of situations. I have a business to protect. It's unfortunate by why would AMI shift heat on themselves by allowing a POTENTIALLY guilty man compete and win it's most prestigious title? It just looks bad. Rhoden has to sit this one out.

I thought the IFBB had a code of ethics, just like the NFL or other organizations have. This was one from a long time ago, before the separation of the IFBB and IFBB Pro League

AMI has a right to protect their interests, but the wording could of been differerent, like revoked or suspended for conduct not becoming until legal court case is done. After all, this is a violent crime (a serious one at that being alleged), not a white collar crime, so action had to be taken.

This is the guy who unilaterally decides who can’t compete at the Olympia. Who controls bodybuilding now ? I always thought it was the people who built it and earned the respect of the athletes. I thought Jim Manion was numero uno.

It appears that the the guy who was granted immunity recently and who by all accounts knows nothing about bodybuilding – has jumped the gun and decided a Mr Olympia – accused of a crime- must be guilty of a crime without due process, without a trial, without picking up a phone and asking the competitor “what the hell is going on?” There is something fundamentally wrong with the entire NPC/Pro League if someone is allowed to be kicked out of the sport after being accused of something. (Even criminal) without asking the accused “ is this true?”

If this is allowed to happen – that Shawn Rhoden is banned from the Olympia – then bb just is nothing more then gutless crappy business, no real passion from anyone, no integrity left, no balls anywhere to say this is unfair. The irony of course is this is the type of story the Enquirer would salivate over!

Wasn’t he Muntzer’s “guru” too? And others that are now competing with lime as fertilizer?
