Agree to disagree.  Up to some level immigration is good, and helped the advancement of Civilization in America, Canada, and Australia but after it gets to a certain point it wreaks havoc on the political, and economic systems. A two party system isn't meant to handle multiple ethnic groups (see South America, the Middle East and Africa for examples). Also once groups become large enough the distribution of wealth through leftist tax reform becomes a huge point of contention which can eventually lead to violence or succession.

If immigration is too rapid from a particular group, who does not have a large barrier to entry it also causes damage. Like a massive exodus of Central/South Americans from their countries to America. The less educated, less ethical people are coming in droves as opposed to an East Indian, or Asian who has a large barrier to entry (flight to America is 1k +, and if they are coming as a family it will be 1k+ * number of family members which means that these immigrants either come from a more prosperous segment of their country's population, or have a tremendous work ethic to save up that amount of money in countries that pay them meager wages).

The proper solution is an immigration system similar to Australia where it is controlled and based on the need of the country, not the need of the immigrant.

Who are we bringing in?   The majority of immigrants are third World people who have shown an inability to establish modern, prosperous, peaceful, advanced societies...
Why do we think they will behave differently here?
Our country is pockmarked with high crime, dysfunctional ghettos and barrios where these people live. They are re-creating the conditions they left and the rest of us are paying the consequences while the Democrats who created the mess live in walled compounds in DC...
