It's not a secret here I'm a fan of his physique. Hes one of the greatest of all time and he did it without a coach and without drugging it up like the mass monster. I loved his workout videos and most videos hes in because he speaks his mind intelligently and doesnt go with the status quo. I'm guessing hes not shooting for the Mr. O. but it  doesnt matter. It's great to see him onstage again.  Btw, hes an arrogant little asshole but one helluva bodybuilder. That's what I want to see.

If he had to be a mass monster, I'd say no. But he was at his best between 205 and 210lbs.

I doubt he could achieve his all time best condition but if he did who could beat him from today's soft bloated messes?  They would be bigger but won't have the density to stand next to him.

Muscle mammary will be the key to allowing this Jurassic Thongolian to come in ripped to the tits.  Look, he is a handsome enough man and if he can pull the rabbit out of the hat that's much better than Kai pulling his putz on stage.  Or Cedric humping someone.  Or Roelly dropping dead.  Or... Well if Flex Lewis comes to the big leagues, Shawn will lose to him.

Levrone tried and failed.  But Shawn isn't Levrone. Of course Levrone isn't Shawn.  WTF does that have to do with anything?  I think Flex Lewis should go for the Big Boy Olympia.

I think a big obstacle for these comebacks besides age is that the drugs they used are not available anymore. It might say it on the vial but I will bet heavy it's not the same.

Well maybe he's thinking about this because he's had chance to observe a couple of case studies with Levrone and Wheeler.  Of the two approaches it would seem to make more sense to me for him to perhaps try the classic/physique route

If he took the same sort of approach back in the day as Levrone - going completely off for long periods - his initial 'bounce-back' could be interesting to watch for sure.  And in terms of conditioning, he was never a GH/insulin monster, was he..?  So, might he be able to bring some of the old-school,dryer look...

Interesting to see how this experiment turns out  8)
