Here is a synopsis of what Neil responded back to William Bonac's earlier Instagram video of him firing and his accusations...
Neil said that when he talked to Bonac, Bonac was living in his car, and did not have money nor sponsors. Neil said he would get Bonac some sponsors, and he would train him, realizing his potential to become a top pro bodybuilder. Neil got him his sponsors, for 20% of his prize money and 20% of your bonus money, which is similar to a lot of other coaches in the industy. Bonac was extremely happy with his arrangement. Neil was not taking any payments in between, when he was prepping him. When he started with him, he was a second rate pro. With working with Neil, in their first pro show together, Bonac placed second.
More excerpts....
I never took 40% of anything from him, I took 20% and that took place for 2-3 years. Everything he paid me was a tax deductible expense. He was a professional athlete for professional services. This is not cash, this is a legitimate payment for tax purposes.
I feel that it is my choice that I have the right to charge for my passion and expertise. If you feel that my charges are not affordable for you, or can't justify that fee, it is not a problem. Everyone sees value in different things. I should not have to justify to anyone where I want to spend my money, that is my choice.
William lies a lot. Last years, William wanted only to pay me 20% prize money, but not 20% bonus money. And that was fine with me. I did put up a hugh amount of time and expertise into William. I always want whats best for William, and I won't be vindictive because of a moment in time. What William put out there was very far from the truth.
I work really, put time into my coaching, my writing, a lot of time and passion and emotion into what I do. I don't drive a fancy car, William has a nice Mercedes. I don't smoke weed or hash, why does it matter with the cost of my living have anything to do with it. I pay my bills off my hard work with what I do.
I didn't come to talk negatively about William or anybody. Have I been frustrated with my relationship with Flex sometimes, yes, and vice versa. I wrote William's plan for the Olympia maybe 18 weeks, but William has not been following the meals or the protocal.
So what does body weight have to do with anything? It allows you to take something, a small part, away from your viewpoint when it comes to diet. The perfect diet is where you are able to build muscle tissue and lose body fat at the same time. It is very easy for some people to over diet. If you lose 15+ pounds in four weeks, it gives me an indication that you may also be losing muscle tissue. William does not measure his body fat. So monitoring his body weight gives me something to work on.
William sent him some pictures recently and it is hard for me to form an opionion because the lighting is different. There were a lot of areas in his physique that was hidden because the lighting wasnt good. I tend to get from William a lot sarcastic messages. I am showing you pics from each week with the lighting of the pics very different. So I said to him that the lighting is very different so hard to get an opinion. I also have not made any changes to Williams plan in the last couple of weeks as long as he was following it.
Williams talks a lot of negativity about a lot of really elite athletes in the industry. William has a falling out with Shawn Rhoden, Dexter Jackson, Cedric McMillian, and somebody else.
The reason this happened today because William just wanted to have a business relationship with him, not personal, whereas before, I had a good relationship. The change comes from William. William comes from a past where things where not always perfect with his life. He has a dark past.
I beleive that William has the ability to win the Olympia. I really hope that he does. I do beleive that it is going to be an extremely competitive battle up there. There are a number of athletes that have a real shot at winning the title. I wish them all the very best.
