If you have children congratulations, it's a lovely thing but why do these people feel the need to post pictures of every move!

It’s true.

No one gives a ready shit about what your kid(s) is up to.

All my friends have children. When we speak, I ask, “Kids good?” A yes or no is all that’s required. And if it’s the latter, give me the very short version of what’s happening.

Example: “Billy fell out of a tree and then a pitbull mauled him while he was on the ground with a busted skull. But he’s in hospital and he’ll possibly live.”

See? Easy.

Then we can get back to yapping about metal news and assorted Batman stuff.

As a parent my kids are my world, but I also have enough sense to realise nobody else gives a fuck and don’t bore anyone by talking about them incessantly, have a few friends that tell you about the most mundane of activities that their kids do basic kid stuff that they all do but they act like the kid just invented fire. The world would be a much better place if people were pre programmed to think that nobody gives a fuck their latest shit, not just with kids but in all areas like sexuality and shit.

Every parent brags at some point how smart their kid is.

You’d begin to imagine each and every child is a prodigy or genius.

As if.

Fast forward 25 years and smart-as-shit Jimmy is working the counter at an auto parts store and has a binge-drinking problem. And he’s a pothead, to boot.

And his lumpy girlfriend has two kids from two other guys.

Not yet mate, I’m currently compiling all of Vince’s YouTube videos onto a dvd which I will have gift wrapped and give it to my son on his 13th birthday

Family is the most important thing. No wonder so many of you are so fucked up in life. If you have no kids you don't give a damn about your friend's. If you have kids your family just isn't that important to you. Your own family doesn't really give a damn about you. No wonder you use drugs to get high. Drugs to look cosmetically built. Drugs to be happy, Drugs to go to sleep. No, career in life just cruising trying to find meaning or trying to numb out your existence.

Yes, if you are a friend to someone and by that I mean a real friend or a relative you should care about what's going on with their family and kids. You should be happy for them when things are going well. Dregs of society on this board.

I have posted A great deal of pics of my kid and family on a closed social media account in which my followers are only family members and close friends. I care about them and their families and vice versa. When a friend of mine asks how my wife’s doing with her current pregnancy or how is my son, they mean it. And I mean it when I ask similar questions. Some of my close friends have met quite a few of my extended-family members.

I never thought I’d give the “likes” to people I don’t know with what appears to be happy families, but now that I have one, I’m inclined to do so. There can never be enough intact, healthy families. If a thrilled parent keeps posting pictures of his or her kid, I think, “Big deal! There are actually highly offensive posts out there. A pic of a kid ain’t one!”

I have facebook but 100% notifications turned off and I never check facebook. I have never made a post, and i have 3 photos up. all clean cut/nice photos/proper

I am not going to waste time scrolling looking at other's ppl lives.....

I have facebook because the way our society functions facebook is a semi utility. many times you need it download other apps, sign up for events etc.

I am not going to fight the system - rather acknowledge it for what is and not get sucked in nor waste time hating on social media. I use facebook the same way your parents had their home phone number listed in the yellow pages. many times path of least resistance with life.

the facebook hearing today was fascinating. many US Politicians slammed fascebook's new currency - the facebook lawyer in typical lawyer fashion didnt answer any questions. why? well that is how you can win a lawsuit or crush someone.... you use their own words against them. and hence congress hearings are fucking boring since the ppl who are getting grilled by congress always play the game and never answer or say much because they know their words will be used against them.
