How could i try a hard shutdown of the -ecu-?
Right now the service engine soon light is off, but engine is real jumpy n weak . Ignition starts up fine

Have you checked the muffler bearings?   ???

Sort your problem - yet you ignore it & carry on with more

On a 97 unhooking the battery is a hard shutdown.  ;D

This morning i managed to get up to 60mph runnin fine then it started accelarating real weak and ideling rough n weak soI barely made it to the mechanic i told him the issue he said keep driving it maybe my exhaust is plugged up. His shop looked very Not busy even though place was big i guess too hot . Well on wayhome i couldnt keep my rpms elevated and died. So i got it towed home and waited a few hours i got it to fire up just real rough n weak on the rpms.....could i keep it slightly revved in the 2000rpm range when in park for lie 20 min would that help

I want to clean my exhaust manifold . Do i clean it from the intake manifold throttle carb?

It would be easier if i had scanner tools and a hydraulic lift like most do here. But i dont think playing with scan tools is the approach to take
