Badass. Funny how things have changed in such a short period of time. If this were made today the book would be the (choose any religion but Christianity) and Mila Kunis would be saving Denzel from getting raped in a culvert pipe.

The only problem that I had with that movie was that they but the holy Bible on the shelf with the Quran trying to do that new age Oprah Winfrey shit where all religions are equal. Fuck all that.

Otherwise it was excellent. Oh, and you are right, it would be very different if it was made today. Mila Kunis would be the star for sure. A kick-ass chick who doesn't need no man.

Thought about watching it the other day but watched Grand Torino. Another flick, that only ten years old, would be different if made today.

I didn’t really have a problem with that. There are different religions and they were filing it in the religion section I guess. Funny though in being politically correct it kind of backfires since the other books weren’t important enough to have been prior burned. Disclosure I’m not really a religious guy in the denomination sense.
