From the front cover of one of my favourite spiritual books I AM THAT;

"The real does not die, the unreal never lived.

Once you know that death happens to the body and not to you, you just watch your body falling off like a discarded garment.

The real you is timeless and beyond birth and death. The body will survive as long as it is needed. It is not important that it should live long."

-Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

I agree with this, I think the body is a biological vehicle/computer that allows us to experience this reality.

Are you sure this computes? But, you are right our bodies are our vehicle. Too bad it doesn't come with a long lifetime warranty.

What happens when we die?
What happens when we sleep?

Wow - never thought I would see a reference to Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj on this site

that there must be more to life than just building muscle and he was going to find it

Balance in life - even my kids know there is more to life than just one thing.  Just got to find the things that you enjoy - whereas bodybuilding, playing video games, photography or watching football sitting your ass on the couch with a beer in each hand...

I wonder if you’ll feel any different on your death bed?

Has no bearing on reality.
