He is a true professional and that's why he keeps getting loads of work even though his acting is not on an elite level.  I find most of his movies boring and as if he plays the same character in every movie.  When I see him on screen he comes across as Tom Cruise and not as the character he is playing.  His real life character is much more interesting than anyone he plays on the silver screen.

I guess I have a different take. I find his movies are always worth seeing. Very few bombs. Most are a fun time and you never left the movies thinking I should have stayed home.

There`s 4-5 in there that I actually liked a lot.

His 80`s stuff sucked the most I guess.

I can't wait for this movie to come out. When the original Top Gun was released, it made practically every guy I knew want to become a fighter pilot. It was a great moving for the time in which it was released (1986). Shit, I remember wanting to move out to San Diego to be able to live the way in which the movie portrayed folks (by the beach, in great weather, riding motorcycles etc).

A truly iconic piece of 1980's cinematography.
