People who don't like Blade Runner are not to be trusted IMO.

What did you think of the second one, Blade Runner 2049?

People who don't like the original Blade Runner are fake and gay.

It was okay. Very difficult to follow the feel of the original. A lot of late 70s and 80 futuristic movies have this eerie quality to them even though they had limited effects.

Yes, it's difficult to bring back that feeling in modern movies made in 2000+

I got to say that I liked it more than I thought I would as I am no Gosling fan.

But I would also say that it was a movie that didn't need to be made.

Then again, one can say that about any work of art.

When he was in The Netherlands, he lived in a farmhouse, in the northern province of Friesland:

That's a good life.  I could have taken that house in the NL and Anita (native) and died in Paradise.

Had a couple corny roles but nothing the god of biomechanics wouldn't let you into heaven for. When he nailed it - Blade Runner, The Hitcher - he knocked it out of the park.

Tot ziens.

I was thinking the same thing!

Granted, the way his character was always a few steps ahead of C. Thomas Howard's got a bit silly, but he was one menacing bastard in that movie, particularly the way he snuffed out Jennifer Jason Leigh's hot little self :/

Howell and other members of the crew were literally afraid of him because he was so creepy.
