Jeremy Buendia - Consensus of opinion?
« on: August 04, 2019, 09:15:57 AM »
This topic may have been discussed in detail earlier, but it's news to me.

What do you GetBiggers think about the "Beaten up the ladies" accusations?

And now he's geting his lawyers after Kenny KO for speaking what Kenny believes is true.

I've been too involved keeping up with Jeffrey Epstein and his political and wealthy buddies with little time to delve into these accusation against the so called IFBB elite ... so I'm ask'en ya what ya think.

Within the GetBig court of opinion ... Did he 'dood' it or did he not?

And what is the AMI/IFBB 'dooding' about it?

What would you suggest?

I don't know what he did with his chick, but he seems like a real jackass.

Titus, Here's a bit of the background.

Buendia has been heavily incriminated by his ex Hilda Laura Amaral who did an interview with KENNY K.O. on YouTube where she disclosed delicate details about her former relationship with the 28-year-old and made some serious accusations, blaming him of physically and psychically abusive behavior and abstraction of charity funds that were supposed to benefit distressed Philippine children.

He’s pretty much admitted that he verbally abuses women.

Jeremy is not a member of the IFBB Pro at the moment, as you need to pay your dues, and he has chosen not to for right now.  Hence, pretty sure the IFBB Pro League is not going to comment on a person who is not a member of their organization right now, nor can they do anything since he is not competing.

That’s too easy and dodgy a response. For example, let’s say he wanted to transition to Classic Physique. Could he enter an NPC amateur competition to qualify?

IFBB pros are allowed to crossover divisions so he can activate his IFBB pro card and enter men's classic. he does not need go to back and earn his IFBB pro card in men's classic

I would like to see him do men's classic

Oh, I stand corrected. So is it a matter of invitation then? A Pro physique competitor can’t up and suddenly decide to show up at an Open Pro Bodybuilding show with his Pro Card and simply enter the show, can he?

This is hypothetical, but another way to ask the question is if he sends his check in, will the check be cashed and the Pro Card mailed to him?

yes... a 212 can do mens classic or open etc etc - IFBB pros can always cross over

you must qualify for the Mr O with the point system or get a personal invite

I would guess he would be ok to compete since there isnt legal issues similar to Shawn Roden....but i assume the IFBB would monitor him quite close!

Ok ok, once you have the pro card you can go in any all pro shows you want to enter. Here’s one: if you are a Physique guy and you keep up your pro card dues, can you take a year or two off to make the transition and then come back and compete in Bikini?

RON, Taco, I find it difficult to understand why Jeremy did not renew his Pro card due to the high level in which he stands within the IFBB.

Is this a common practice among the IFBB pro .... i.e. to only renew it if one intends to compete that year?

And if one does not renew each year ... is there a penalty payment due upon the next IFBB Pro card renewal?

You would think that the IFBB would encourage every IFBB pro to renew each year even if that pro had no intention to compete until a later date.

And every individual IFBB judge must renew his/her IFBB membership card each year if he or she wishes to be considere as a judge in forthcoming IFBB events.

And I wonder if Arnold has renewed his pro card ever since he became a pro?

Like any member organization, if you choose not to renew, you don't have too, especially if you are not comepting.  As for a penalty, I have no idea.     Same with the NPC
