He wasn't that diesel in the 1st fight.  Obviously, they are playing mind tricks with the sloppy Mexican.  No temple shots will save him this time.  Joshua is going to piece this fat fool up in Saudi. I'm hearing 70 mil from the Saudis and 20 mil from Skyline UK for Joshua. I'm not so sure about that. Ruiz might beat him again. Look at the highlights - the dude has power, speed, can take a hit etc. It could go either way but I would not be surprised if the Mexican Rocky Ruiz beats Joshua again!

Go back and look at the highlights and see what started the chain of events.  After Joshua dropped him, he went in for the kill and got clipped with a temple shot, not a chin check.  Control the rematch with his height and reach.  Ruiz is a bit different from pocket fighting with Povetkin (more power but slow hand speed) and Takem (good work-rate but no power).  We did a whole thread and examples of the shot that caught Joshua. You can see his legs go when the shot glanced off of his temple.  Review Charlo/Jackson and Harrison/Willie Nelson for similar shots. Fat boy is getting pieced up but he got 2 career paydays at the expense of Luis Ortiz and his family.

Joshua did and didn’t like it.

He lost his Bottle & Gave Up - He could’ve easily continued in the 7th,
The time from when he hit the canvas the 2nd time to the Ref Waving
The fight off was 34 seconds at No Time Did Joshua want to Continue!!
His 1st Big Fight In America & He Bottled it.
I liked Joshua up until This Fight.

He’d likely get Hammered by Deontay & Definitely By Fury.
If he didn’t Bottle it & Back Out 1st.
You can’t give him a Fighters Heart.

Yout raise some good points. But Ruiz is no joke. He gave Parker a tough time and Joshua didn't look all that great against Parker either. Yes Joshua got caught then fought sloppy in what should've been an easy fight. But aside from talent, skill, physical advantages Joshua seems to have lost alot of confidence in the past few years. It was apparent even before the Ruiz fight.

LIttle bit of racism creeps in here. Everyone has come to accept black guys "just look like that" so you see a guy OBVIOUSLY juicing and its just not jumped on by the general public. He didn't just lose size, he lost density and fullness which means he is NOT just one of those black guys like Dexter with perfect roundness and fullness, he was on the sauce. If a white boxer looked like he did in most fights, there would be serious questions from all sorts of analysts. "He's gotta be juicing". They used to say that about Tommy Morrison all the time, even Golota and Klitchko if they came in very muscular. Black guys still get drug tested, which we all know can be beaten, but there is not a public suspicion when a guy has sub 10% bodyfat with a pro bodybuilder physique after doing EXTENSIVE cardio for an entire training camp and being "natural". It's not just size, Joshua has a VERY different look to his physique when off.

Joshua is overrated- he is a 2.0- frank Bruno, better KO power but weak defense/head movement and weak chin

he barely beat an ancient Klitkcho

its the end for AJ, he should have taken $50 mil to get KO'd by WIlder

ruiz could just barely handle parker.  vlad that fought joshua stops ruiz. add wilder to the short list too. if that is the case, charlo should have beat harrison or clipped him with a temple shot like willie nelson.  upsets and fluke happen in all sports. even arum let ruiz go b/c he said he wasn't that good.   now, joshua is a hype job. i'd say a bit rushed based his resume if you compare it to the trash resumes of coke fury and the bum hunter from bama
