I don't think his heart was in it.  He was an offensive lineman in high school and by all accounts, really liked to eat.  Probably enjoyed being a big guy more than suffering through a 16 week diet.

He is a fireman last I heard?  Good decision by him to get out of the "sport" and get a decent career.

the last 2 chics ive dated have been top level figure competitors so i cannot help myself! I have schmoe tendencies.  if you are schmoe it is easier if you compete as a good way meet girls who compete (same gym, same trainers, contest etc)
