Can’t hold a candle next to Clint Eastwood, at least Clint embraced his age, and role in movies, sly still thinks he’s living in the 70’s still

And he is still going to make two more Mission: Impossible movies.

What's that, eight?

He should be taking smaller, more serious roles with better scripts that hopefully turn into better movies.

Maybe try some directing.

Accept your age and perform in parts that reflect that.

Then he will get his Oscar.

In cruises defense he’s still relatively “young,” when he’s in his 70’s doing the things Stallone is doing, then it’s ridiculous, but I get your point

First Blood was in ’82, Last Blood in 2019 - 37 Years.

I’d say Sly is pretty much spot on. Hopefully no spotting.

Sly has deteriorated though.

If Tom Cruise is STILL doing it in his 70s though, that'll be a question when it comes

Man....a lot of hate and negativity towards Stallone on this thread. I love Rambo, god bless Rambo. Stallone is a legend. So is Cruise. I will definitely see Top Gun 2 next summer. First day it premiers.

And since everyone is wanting Stallone to give it up...After this Rambo, Stallone is likely to call it a wrap with action movies. I don't think he's going to continue the Expendable or Escape plan movies.

Agreed.

What is happening is that Stallone is doing damage to his legacy.

Despite other films, he will be most remembered for Rocky Balboa and John Rambo.

He is damaging the legacy of those films by continuing to make ridiculous sequels.

Arnold has done this to Terminator.

Just because the stupid studios keep making Terminator films doesn't mean that he has to say yes to being in them.

MI movies are solid. He, along with his co-stars, esp Ferguson, definitely plays up to his age in the role.

Unlike Rocky, Rambo can't have a protege, so it is time to give it up.

Arnold can get away with TER-MAN-HATER bc he is nothing more than an outdated robot.

I can't really speak on TG b/c I didn't watch the 1st one.
