Energy booster ?
« on: August 25, 2019, 03:29:19 PM »
I stopped pre workouts powder last week after using it for like 3 months  and having a hard time to get my ass to the gym

Any suggestions ? is it true that coffee with guarana pills is safer than any pre workout formulas?   can you go year round using one serving of pre workout ?

WooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  Thanks my muchachos

Try zipfizz

Or Trader Joes has concentrated liquid coffee

Both work

Just remember success in bodybuilding is determined by your diet and training, not pre workout consumption.

I feel you bro, finding motivation can be tough. Sometimes  I actually watch training videos (pumping iron and ronnie coleman clips) to get motivated

I know politically incorrect but cocaine if used responsibly has a ton of benefits for training in that it does not just create energy, it enhances pain tolerance, euphoria and even has beneficial metabolic properties. Its a plant that's been used for thousands of years. But if you are worried about addiction don't do it. But if worried about addiction you probably don't have the discipline for 10 meals a day and obsessive dedication to physique development anyway. Pre workouts and all that shit are great, but have a list of chemical ingredients WAAAAYYY too long to research and know what is good for your body, from colorings to preservatives and shit you can't pronounce. Cocaine is derived from  a plant.

Yeah I’ve trained on it plenty of times (training at Home on a Saturday eve) and felt I would get a heart attack if I went heavy. The thing is it’s also impossible to moderate, you start with one line to get you going then one after 20 mins, then 15 minutes...10...5...

Don’t take anything.Just rely on self motivation.Whatever you can do is what you can do.Some days better than others.Today for me sucked strength, energy and motivation wise but it’s just another one in the books.Arms yesterday was amazing and chest on wed was great.

You guys are seriously advocating doing blow and training????  Are you guys nuts??

Do not ever do this!!

Now a few bumps after dinner and some wine, I strongly advocate :-)

I agree with this, used to use caffeine pills but after a while felt no benefit, tried doubling the dose before a deadlift session and thought was going to have a heart attack could feel my heart beating through my whole body said fuck it no more after that.
Now I just focus on getting food and water intake decent before a workout and 9 times out of 20 they are decent

A good diet is the only “energy booster” one should need. I usually get between 6-7 hours of sleep a night and have plenty of energy. Haven’t ingested caffeine in years.

A work ethic doesn't come from a bottle. Those energy powders and pills will just make you feel nervous and jumpy.  It might make you feel a runner's high from the energy crap but it will fade leaving a nervous wreck.  A work ethic is built just like a muscle. You have to train it and it will get stronger. Get your ass to a gym and keep going till it becomes an automatic part of your life routine.
