-All these YEARS of experience and Bob C is still so bad. His suit and obnoxious watch are just weird. His microphone skills are terrible. He actually asked the winner of the men's board short division, "So how about tonight's judges? Do you think they did a good job?" WTF.
-Classic division bodybuilders have already pulled their posing trunks up their ass just like the open division. I guess they know where their money come from.
-Terrible stage management. While they were awarding the Top-6 in men's board shorts they had TEN competitors on stage. WTF. Four guys just stood there and received nothing.
-I personally like the band "Disturbed" but playing "Down with the sickness" while handing out awards to mainly black guys wearing surfer pants just seemed bizarre.
-My god. Shawn Ray just adds absolutely nothing to the commentary. Nothing.
All good observations. The 10 with 6 faux pas is unforgivable. Imagine standing there trying not to look like a total loser while others get their winner trophies. Humiliating.
Perhaps Bob Cicherillo can't be bothered to update his MC wardrobe or he's stuck in the 80's. He is a hefty fellow....not exactly the best body-type for looking good in clothes. But, the Olympia isn't really about the clothes....more about the lack thereof.
From a stereotypical viewpoint, black men wearing board shorts is something of an oxymoron. Rumor has it, black people aren't great swimmers. (racist comments noted)
I predict the classic division will become ripped bodybuilders in thongs within 3 years. If the point is to show off their physiques, then less is always going to be more. No matter how you package it, bodybuilding will not become a mainstream sport. Not unless another Arnold comes along, marries up and becomes both a movie star and a politician. My guess is that he is a one-off
