Johnny Winter worked with the greats as a young blues guitarist, and it shows in his music. Has more of a traditional blues sound.

Gary Moore was one of the most underrated rock/blues guitarist ever.  His style of blues was powerful and raw.

Amazing player, but why present a song/video from his hard rock/metal period?

Some of the most talented players are white (Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, Winter, SRV, Bonamassa, etc).

Saw Johnny Winter Live at the Iron Horse Cafe in Northampton Mass.
He had to be led out to the stage, sat on a stool, only played only acoustic guitar, and forgot a lot of words to his songs.

He was in ill health to say the least.

One of his roadies told me that all day long he sat in his trailer drinking Jack Daniels and playing Muddy Waters records.

I still loved the show just the same.

Went to see blues guitarist Duke Robilard who was great but most of the show I shot the shit with his chick who told me he was a B.B. King fanatic and showed me a book Duke was reading about B.b>

Also saw him when he was in Roomful Of Blues..........great fucking show with Eddy Cleanhead Vincent as the added atttraction to the band.

Saw Johnny play a year before he died...sickly, blind, they had to walk him to a chair and hand him the guitar. He still ripped.

Me too bro...........even though diminished I loved it.

Went to a free Rick Derringer concert in a little town with my then ex chick one Sunday afternoon...........brou ght Edgar Winters Roadwork album with me which he signed.

One thing about the show I didn`t expect as Rick was getting older.,........he fucking whaled on guitar like when he was a kid................very much underated.
