There are too many educated, serious people who have come forward with really nothing to gain and everything to lose.

That is where the money came from to start AATIP.

The government claims that the program is over now, but I believe that it has simply moved to black budget programs so that they can bypass congressional inquiries.

While the show can be silly, there was a good episode of Ancient Aliens a couple of seasons ago where they talked about Bigelow and AATIP. They even showed some footage of his 60 Minutes interview where he flat out said that alien life was visiting Earth.
