Don't feed the trolls/take the bait.  Climate change happening is an overwhelming consensus if not a fact.  The fucking ocean water in Panama Beach is 88 fucking degrees.

Everything written about it can be accused of having some sort of bias, but your best bet is to start by reading some of the arguments made by those who study the issue and have differing views. Richard Lindzen is a former MIT scientist and outspoken climate change critic; you can read the statements he's made followed by the rebuttals of numerous MIT colleagues: https://insideclimatenews.org/news/06032017/climate-change-denial-scientists-richard-lindzen-mit-donald-trump.

Kerry Emanuel is another MIT professor and atmospheric scientist who's published a book on the topic (I've not read it): https://mitpress.mit.edu/books/what-we-know-about-climate-change.

There's also a podcast on YouTube featuring Joseph Romm (PhD in physics from MIT and author of numerous books on the subject) where he discusses climate change:

If you want a basic understanding of the international climate change regime, read the 1992 Framework Convention on Climate Change, the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, and the 2016 Paris Agreement. If you're interested in the legal form of the Paris Agreement, the mechanisms of implementation, and some of the political issues that arise from it then I can send you some stuff on that. I had to study it briefly as part of international law, so I still have notes.

The problem with climate change is that it's a global problem. All the countries of the world need to work together in harmony and drastically cut their greenhouse gas production. No more use of cars, planes and no more eating meat (25% of green house gases come from cows).......obviously this will never happen.

Bodybuilding forums is a good starting point. If we could get the Juan Morels of the world to go vegan that would put s huge dent in green house gases.

This article from CNBC, of all places, describes the trend in climate protests devolving into a purely political wedge issue that favors anger over solutions.

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/24/how-greta-thunbergs-rise-could-backfire-on-environmentalists.html

"Based on all the politically partisan slogans and signs we saw at the climate protests over the past few days, are we sure the top motivation is the environment and not politics? If the activists protesting right now could get the most serious climate change threats eliminated, but without politically defeating President Trump and Republicans and/or putting the big oil companies out of business in the process, would they still be interested in the cause?"

Protesters and their politician counterparts are shifting focus from personal conservation efforts(Think Globally, Act Locally) to strictly attacking businesses but ignoring business's strong incentives to profit by providing solutions.

"Natural gas is cheaper and produces 50% fewer emissions than coal, nuclear power has been modernized and made much safer in recent decades while producing no emissions. For-profit entities like a company called Carbon Engineering are working on machines that literally suck carbon emissions out of the atmosphere."

https://www.technologyreview.com/s/612940/the-new-safer-nuclear-reactors-that-might-help-stop-climate-change/
https://www.npr.org/2018/12/10/673742751/how-1-company-pulls-carbon-from-the-air-aiming-to-avert-a-climate-catastrophe

Capitalism can create problems(pollution, etc...) but it can also solve problems. The entities behind their angry climate-protesting front-people are seeking money(taxes) that they would ultimately profit massively from(doling out solution-funding money but keeping most of it) instead of profitable solutions by uncompromised entrepreneurs or companies whose profits they can't dip their hands into.

Are the Rothschilds, for example(see book below), interested in anything they can't personally profit grandly from?

I remember studying the ice age in College - crazy how the bering Strait was a landbridge at one time.

there have been 5 ice ages on earth - (these were way before global warming)

I feel all the human behavior/pollution isn't helping but the earth is warming/cooling all the time - what percentage of our civilization is causing effects?

eventually a gaseous meteor  will hit and that will be "the end"

Global Warming Polar Ice Caps. The Polar Ice Caps dramatic decrease in size in recent years has been seen by many people as evidence of Global warming. The melting of the polar ice caps has been very sudden and has alarmed many people. Polar ice caps melting is seen as an early warning signal that climate change is affecting our planet.

You ARE aware that the guy that came up with the "hockey stick" graphs (Michael Mann) has just lost a case against Tim Ball (the guy asking him to produce the data with which he reached such conclussions) right?

All the graphs that you are seeing that demonstrate CO2 levels being extremely high or temperatures suddenly violently going up are made up right?

In the past 10,000 years, the average temperature of the earth was higher than today's 95% of the time.
