She was older than 8 years old when doing the Conan-movie.

I'd say she's hot for 8 years old, 20 years old and 40 years old.

I was also a young lad (although older than you) when i saw Conan the Barbarian.

Howard frequently corresponded with H. P. Lovecraft, and the two would sometimes insert references or elements of each other's settings in their works.

Later editors reworked many of the original Conan stories by Howard, thus diluting this connection.

Nevertheless, many of Howard's unedited Conan stories are arguably part of the Cthulhu Mythos.

Additionally, many of the Conan stories by Howard, de Camp, and Carter used geographical place names from Clark Ashton Smith's Hyperborean Cycle.

I was very impressed with Conan/Arnold in that movie, that's for sure.

Had already read a lot of comics about Conan but never seen him like that.

My first image of Conan was something like this

Arnolds version really left an impact.

Comics here in Italy at that time were difficult to find, if not impossible.
I used to read Howard's books.
But of course seeing Arnie was really impressive.
I guess many others started lifting after the movie come out.
And again Valeria was so damn hot. Perfect woman.
