Another physique competitor dead

Just saw a physique competitor from Iran just died after competing in a contest.  Last week an Italian physique competitor died after a contest.

What's going on? If you had to guess what's the likely cause? Both were young and in apparently good shape. What did they use that caused death?

No expert but maybe diuretics? The late Momo comes to mind (saw him win one of his last contest here in Italy. Salsomaggiore).

"The cause of death has yet to be determined officially for Shahab Beyranvand. Initial reports suggest the young man committed suicide with pills. Although some are saying it could be a result of heart failure. Nevertheless, Mohammad Reza Piradi, the mentor of this young bodybuilder, is urging people to avoid spreading rumors until an autopsy has been performed."

I'd consider competing in bb contests and suicide being one on the same

It's sometimes curious how things are worded. Reza Piradi seems to say it will be okay to spread rumors about Shahab once the autopsy is performed.

Whatever the cause of Shahab's demise, it is a shame when someone so young passes.

Mineral imbalance isn’t good.
Very high potassium levels can cause cardiac arrest - Death.
From sodium depletion / Diuretics- Potassium sparring / High potassium intake,
All of these are common for competitive Bodybuilders to Do.
