I need some advice from you guys........being the old fucker that I am,I know very little about the concept of a fire stick and all that technical shit.

Anyway,I have Dish TV ..............250 channels for $ 135.00 a month.

THEY ARE SO REPETATIVE I FEEK LIKE CAVING MY TV SCREEN IN.

Is it worth getting a fire stick Netflix Hulu or Amazon ?

Yea I have opt but I have a ROKU and all so called cable is the same but with dish you can just pick the channels you want to pay for

I had cable with every channel and it was 265 a month with internet got rid of movie channels except hbo package and still paying 213 a month.Ridiculous.netflix is great and Amazon is pretty good I would cancel dish and just get those and maybe keep local channels.

Buy a firestick and stream any movie you want, there’s a lot of classics you can’t find anywhere else. YouTube even has some free movies

I have all the pay stations except HBO which Dish removed.......had it also at one point.

If I didn`t like boxing so much I would have cancelled this crap a long time ago................YOUTU BE boxing from now on I guess.

I`ll Google Netflix and the other channels to get an idea of what kind of programming they have.

I`m totally null and void here as you can ell.

I recommend starting with Netflix. It will take you a couple years at least till you get bored with it.

Get an Hdtv antenna for local stations. Amazon prime has a lot of good content. You can stream most shows from the network websites as well. No need for cable tv

I like the news channels and college football so I guess I need cable. The netflicks movies never seems to change. I have Amazon Prime and seen some good movies. They all are getting slick making some movies you have to pay for now. That's how cable started. You pay and there were no commercials. Now you pay and get the commercials with it.

The hdtv key only gets you channels 2 through 11 who watches those channels anymore unless its for football

Recently cut the cable cord and have Roku. I also have an Amazon Prime account through my business so I use that too. So much stuff to watch I wished I had dumped cable years earlier.

Exactly what it is in Aus. I was really disappointed with it. Apparently Netflix US has a much broader licensing agreement and a wide selection of real films. Not just the worst of the 80s and their homemade Rainbow Brite shit I paid them for.

you're not alone.

I need to learn this Roku and Amazon firestick stuff.

But I have a pretty good deal with Comcast right now.

I have a Triple Play bundle.

It is Cable television with 219+ channels/+On Demand, home phone and internet with 250mbps.

it's two-year deal and I got free installation, free HBO for the two years, and free DVR service, but I have to pay the rental fee for the DVR itself.

The joke is the fees, taxes and other bullshit. They charge me a rental fee for the modem and the three cable boxes.

But it is still a pretty good deal. It's under two-hundred a month. I'll dump it after two years because I hear the price jumps big time.
